Email and calendar connections

The Vitae integration catalogue includes Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar. Check the supported account type, permissions, sync scope and history for your setup. Connecting an account does not mean every record in that account is shared with everyone.

• Decide which mailboxes or calendars are in scope.
• Confirm who can read the resulting activity.
• Test the effect of disconnecting or changing account access.

Imports and specialist systems

The catalogue includes ATS and CRM sources such as Greenhouse, Lever, HubSpot and Pipedrive, and provider connections such as Xero and DocuSign. These names cover different kinds of connection. They are not a promise of complete two-way sync.

• Ask whether your use case is an import, a workflow action or ongoing sync.
• Agree the exact record types and supported operations.
• Confirm provider subscription requirements and any implementation costs.

Custom API, MCP and CLI workflows

A supported interface lets your team extend the platform for a specific job. For example, a workflow could prepare an external handover when a deal is approved. The external application must expose the required action and your account must be authorised to use it.

• Start with the documented API or tool catalogue.
• Map required fields and validate responses.
• Plan for retries, duplicate events and expired access.

Define success before connecting

Write a short acceptance check for each connection. A useful check describes the source event, expected destination record, owner and failure notification. Test with sample data before switching on live changes.

• Identify which system is authoritative for each field.
• Confirm how deletions and access changes are handled.
• Give a person responsibility for connection failures.

Can you connect any application?

An application needs a supported interface and the necessary account access. We confirm the specific operations during setup. A logo in a catalogue is not evidence that every feature of that app can be automated.
